Chris writes all his own songs and is influenced a lot by the likes of Ray Lamontagne, Gary Jules, Bob Dylan, Seth Lakeman and Daniel Powter. He has played numerous gigs in and around Lichfield, and also many in Sheffield where he is the host of a weekly live music night. Chris’s songs are mostly about personal experiences – friends, family, unfortunate experiences with girls and drinking…the usual stuff! And he has got a good mix between soft slow folky ballads and upbeat indie-pop hoe-downs. Chris is currently on the song-writing team for the winner of Chinese x-factor winner Mary-Jess Leaverland, who he has performed with on several occasions.
