Local singer songwriter Louise Petit has confirmed that she will be performing in the Acoustic Tent at The Lichfield Fuse Festival on Friday July 8th.
Louise says:
Under my bed I have around two thousand songs, not all of them finished, many of them forgotten, but I have enough to play to people who want to hear them and that is what I do.
For as long as I remember I have listened intently to the lyrics in songs trying to understand the story being told. I’m influenced by artists that I grew up listening to, Billy Joel, The Carpenters, lots of artists on the Motown label and Simon and Garfunkel. Essentially, I write pop songs which are a bit folky and a bit country.
I write songs and play them because I love to. I hope you like my songs and come and see me play.
